I was wondering what do I get refund after I left Japan. I have been working in Japanese Software Development Company for last 7 years as an “Engineer”. As I have been living in Japan for 10+ years. I am also thinking of applying for Permanent Residence soon.
Here’s a thing, whether I get PR or not… I am leaving Japan in couple of years and going back to homeland. Since I have been working as a salary-man for so many years, I have been paying lot of taxes, insurances, pension etc.
Do I get any amount back (refund or lump sum) if I left Japan permanently? I have also heard that once you got PR, nothing will be refund. Is it true? Person who is planning for going back his country, shouldn’t be applying for PR ????
