HSBC internet banking works very well, most of the time. But if anything goes wrong, it is a nightmare. Their online staff is almost useless, doing nothing more than repeat the script on their computer with no understanding or initiative.
They send important, time-sensitive documents to you by regular HK mail (with regular HK postage) and it takes 2 weeks to 3 months for them to get to Shanghai (by which time the stuff has expired), they have multiple levels of security that make it almost impossible to fix anything, etc etc.
But when there are no problems it works very well.
