Being somewhat visually impaired ( near sighted ) I am curious about vision care. I know there is any number of places to have glasses made but what if encounter something more serious, say retinal detachment or tearing.
I ask only because I have had surgery in Canada ( I am Canadian ) for just such a thing about 5 years ok. My surgeon at the time mentions that it could happen again.
