Family United sounds good from the feedback here (other than the billing games). The story about Hua Shan foreigner section didn’t sound good, but I’ve heard many people that said they were happy with their care.
Hadn’t heard of Zhongshan before – but I see they’re with Fudan, which sounds good. Do they have a foreigner section/english speaking staff? anyone else with experience there?
Another strike against Parkway – office hours?? that’s not a place for emergencies
Yes, it makes sense to get out of shanghai if something serious is happening (if you can), but where to go otherwise? I’m a decent length cab ride from shanghai united too, so I’d like to hear more specific recommendations outside of family united. or would most people here take the long cab ride regardless?
